Oy…Christmas.

Maybe just me….but the thought of

pulling out Christmas

stuff

Isn’t intriguing this year.

I was all aboard two weeks ago…but petered out.

Did get a Charlie Brown tree decked him out with some

vintage ornaments

Put him in the kitchen/familyroom

Paperwhites are reaching…slowly.

Lulu borrowed some branches from the tree…

In all of her merry-making style

Happy Merry.

Kinda the same feeling here, which means . . .

Don't keep trying.
It's Christmas!

Keep on keepin' on.
(Go watch 'Elf', and drink some bubbly.)

Loved the wreath skirt. Me, I used to spend 2 weeks decorating for Xmas even cutting snowflakes from lace doilies and gluing them in the corners of the windows. Beautiful, but I had to scrape them off. Nowadays, no one comes to the farm for Xmas as we have to travel to have Xmas with them so at the farm - nada. It is really a relief to tell the truth. Nothing to put up. And, we used to have a Xmas tree farm.

Good to hear it is not just me!

Bubbly. Check.

Yes, Donna...I can imagine years after having a Christmas tree farm it may well be time to cool it :)

Merry merry, all!

You're way ahead of me. I'm into it for everyone else. I just can't get a handle on it this year. I'm going minimal this year.

Simple is always good, and I'm a fan of everything you've done-especially Lulu.

I've been looking forward to seeing your holiday decor, as it's always one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing these little snippets for now …and I'm sure you'll get inspired to do more very soon! :)

Hilarious mannequin!!! It'll give everyone a laugh and you'll be laughing with them. That's all that matters. The décor shouldn't go up unless you LOVE doing it!!!

Oh my gosh...I felt the same way! Is it our age? You are probably waaaayy younger than me! I had to get up my mojo for a showhouse and I just kept going. It was tough though!!!
